Edwardian Diamond Daisy Cluster Ring, Old Cut & Single Cut Diamonds, 14ct Gold, Antique Early 1900s Flower Ring

A lovely little antique diamond daisy with all the character I look for in early jewelry — bright old diamonds, a beautifully constructed floral setting, and that unmistakable hand-finished feel that modern reproductions just do not quite have.

This early 20th century ring dates to approximately the Edwardian period, likely circa 1900–1915. The face is designed as a classic daisy cluster, with old cut and single-cut diamonds arranged closely together to create a wonderfully lively flower-like sparkle. It has a delicate appearance on the hand without feeling overly ornate — very wearable, very classic, and easy to imagine either as an antique engagement ring or simply as an everyday piece for someone who loves old jewelry.

Details
Era: Early 20th century / Edwardian, circa 1900–1915
Metal: Tested as approximately 14ct gold
Stones: Old cut and single-cut diamonds
Design: Daisy / flower cluster
Ring size: UK N½, approximately US 6.75–7
Weight: 1.9g
Condition: Great antique condition with age-appropriate minor marks and scratches to the setting and minor tarnish. One of the single-cut diamonds is a later replacement, as noted in the original condition report. Please review all photographs carefully as they form an important part of the description.

NOTES: As with nearly all antique jewelry, close magnification may reveal small irregularities, signs of wear, patina, old tool marks or minor differences between the stones that are far less noticeable to the naked eye. These are part of the history of a piece that has survived for well over a century rather than a newly manufactured ring.

This is an antique piece and is therefore not expected to be in factory-new or mint condition. I personally love these small traces of age — they are part of what makes an original antique ring feel individual rather than mass produced.

Antique diamonds were cut individually by hand rather than to the highly standardized proportions we associate with modern round brilliant diamonds. Because of this, the stones can vary slightly from one another in shape, facet pattern and personality. That individuality is one of my favorite things about antique diamond jewelry.

Antique box and any other styling props shown in the photographs are not included.

I personally source antique and vintage jewelry from around the world, choosing pieces with distinctive period details, beautiful old stones, and designs that still feel special more than a century later.
