Antique Late Victorian Natural Sapphire & Old Cut Diamond Bar Brooch, 108mm, 16.6 grams
This striking 108mm piece features nine richly colored sapphires totaling approximately 2.50 carats, alternating with ten old-cut diamonds totaling approximately 1.08 carats (G–I color, VS–P clarity). The diamonds display the charming sparkle and character unique to antique hand-cut stones.
The brooch is constructed in individual articulated box links and fitted with an original trombone clasp — a hallmark of late Victorian to Edwardian craftsmanship (circa 1895–1915).
